v13 HMI user data types inside HMI user data types

Jo_va Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Hi, I'm using TIA v13 and trying to use an HMI UDT inside an HMI UDT, this is no problem in PLC UDTs, but in HMI UDT i just cant find other udts in the dropdown, see attached photo. Even thoug i released the version of the udt. Is this possible? Thanks Couple of things come to mind. Have you compiled the plc project? If you have, you can simply start typing the UDT name at the datatype and Portal will allow it as a valid datatype. After you have used the UDT at least once, it will appear at the bottom of the datatype list. I do not know if this is for every PLC type or V13 update version, but it has been how it works for me.

Jo_va Posts: 7 Rating: (1)	Thanks for your reply. I have used the UDT in the project, and compiled it. Looks like your are refering to an PLC UDT? My problem is the HMI UDT. I use a TP1200 Comfort panel.

Aksels Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	With TIA V13 SP1 Update2 it is now possible, but only for HMI with newer Firmware. I have TP700 Comfort 6AV2 124-0GC01-0AX0 V13.0.0.0 : not possible and TP700 Comfort 6AV2 124-0GC01-0AX0 V13.0.1.0: Possible. Can anyone confirm? Sincerly, Aksels
