Hello,

I have following setup: s7-1200 with KTP 700Basic. 

I am using Gen_UsrMsg for debuging/loging purposes. The HMI have screen with System diagnostic view to visualize the diagnostic buffer of s7-1200.

The issue is:

- the message generated by Gen_UsrMsg is correctly stored in diagnostic buffer (checked in Online&Diagnostics/Diagnostics/Diagnostics buffer in TIA Portal)

- System diagnostic view in HMI creates new line with correct No., Date and Time but the Event text is empty

What is the problem? Is such usage even possible?

Using TIA Portal V16U4, STEP 7 Professional V16U4, WinCC Advanced V16U4.

I have this problem too.

TIA 18 S7-1200 and KTP900.

I just get empty space where the event text should be on the HMI in diagnostic buffer view. It's visible in the PLC diagnostic buffer. Normal system messages from the PLC show fine in HMI diagnostic buffer view.

I have only one language enabled which is English (United Kingdom) and all languages of the device display / web server are set to English (United Kingdom).

The previously suggested fix seems unrelated.
