V19 Simulation Access control issue

AutoGen_3060394 Joined: 11/8/2023 Last visit: 4/23/2025 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi. I have an issue with TIA 19, communicating PLC sim with WinCC Unified Runtime (sim) when using Access Control Enabled. I configured the user in Security settings. When turning on the unified sim, i have no communication between PLC -> HMI (tags and controls are not working) and neither am i asked about any login credentials. The problem is resolved if i disable Access Control - everything is working fine (still no login though). A common problem is that i dont have access to "My WinCC Unified" or "User management" in the Unified HMI Menu. Any tips? Attachment 2025-02-28_09-36-48.jpg (24 Downloads)

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 4/23/2025 Posts: 15338 Rating: (1894)	Hello AutoGen_3060394 you shoudl check if you have set up correctly your Unified System (also ES): https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109806850 If you start Simulation of the Unified HMI in V19/V20 then a default user is used without the deed for a login. This is a normal behaviour. you can use another user for testing if you open the basic Unified Startscreen in browser and login. If this do not work or you cannot call the User admin website then I think a certificate problem could be the issue. Bye Murof
