Hi Lisa,

Please answer a few questions:

• Which version of WinCC Unified PC Runtime are you using for simulation?
• And what is the version of your remote station?
• Is it a PC Runtime or a WinCC Unified Panel?
• What font are you using? Is it the standard Siemens font or have you changed it to use your own?

In general, you should make sure that you are using the latest updates for your HMI devices.

To answer your questions;

• 1. I'm using Simatic Wincc Unified RT v19 Upd3.
• 2. The remote station uses the same version.
• 3. It is a PC Runtime.
• 4. I'm using Tahoma, I haven't considered how fonts could affect this so I tried altering some text to the default Siemens Sans but the problem is still there unfortunately.

I've just updated TIA portal to v20 so I'll do the same for the runtimes as well and will let you know if there is a difference there.

Hello,

I am also encountering the same weird bug with PC runtime on the same version with WinCC Unified RT V19 Update 3. I looked in the DPI settings without success.

The use of a different browser isn't helping . Are there different ideas for fixing this issues?

I recently encountered an issue that seems to be affecting others as well. Here’s how I resolved it:

1. For the PC RT: You can either update to V20 SR1 or apply the attached patch if you want to stay on V19.
2. For the panel: Updating the image to V20 worked for me. Note that you can use TIA Portal V19 with the V20 image without any issues.

I think it should not be a topic of font because the used fonts shoud be embedded in the website.

do you use some kind of different DPI settings on the two systems?

Do you have tried with different browsers?

do you use some bold settings for the font? if yes try without "bold" just for testing

The DPI settings are the same, the attached photo shows Tahoma (top) and Siemens Sans (bottom) both bolded and regular and they show the same results. Different browsers also show the same results.
