V90 limit switches not working during jog.

I am using a V90 drive on modbus according to an application example.

I need a jog function in my application, the FAQ suggest using the speed mode for jogging here.

My problem is that the limit switches are not working when I switch the drive to speed mode, they only work in Ipos mode. The DI configuration for cwl and ccwl is set the same for every operating mode.

When reading the manual it is unclear to me if the limit switches can stop the drive in speed mode. I have contacted siemens and one person said they can work, another says they cannot work in speed mode.

For me, limit switches should work when jogging.

Has anyone used the limit switches successfully in this kind of application? Or used the drives in a similar application?

In V90 control mode IPos or Speed, CWL & CCWL operates when DI 3 & DI4 signal level changes from 1 -> 0. When 0 level is present at DI, OFF3 signal applies & motor stops. 

Please refer the attached sheet for detail information.

These are factory default settings, however, if you have configured other DI, please check the status of signals of PLC & drive when the limit switch operates.

DI logic changes with the control type i.e. in IPoS & Speed control configuration. So when you change from IPoS control type to Speed control, how do you change the DI.

Please check.
