Valve sequence Logic Help

Hi All,

I need some software development help for Water Plant. I have Valve sequence. Please see below table

From above table take e.g. of Air Release –

1.       2 Min is running time set point.

2.       If Air release start it will check Priority number to open / close the valve then Time delay (X Seconds) for opening or closing of valve and Open valve / Close valve.

3.       I need to develop this logic as per above table selection. Priority, Time and Opening and Closing of Valve will changeable.

4.       I don’t want use too many timer because I have another Sequence it has almost 24 steps same as above.

5.       Please guide me proper way to develop this logic.

Hi,

If you don't want to use many timers, u can use the cyclic mark, this you able in the hardware, and in your program u can count every time that this mark its in 1, and so count the seconds, in a double word, or something like that, its very usefull, with and mathematic add, and restart to 0 when the time is reached.

your best choice is to use SFC. You can set the minimum processing time of each step. For transitions, also, you do not need any condition. From each step, you can set or reset needed bits.
