variant on s7-1200 problem

boazeventall Posts: 131 Rating: (4)	i want to send to function any DB so i create an input var that call "source" and i set is data type to variant from the outside of the function i sended to "source"P#DB2.DBX0.0 INT 300 how can i set from "source" the information? i tryed to write this order: #test:=PEEK(area:=#source, dbNumber:=0, byteOffset:=2); but i tells me that #source as an error

Am I right? Do you have any restriction to split this information in parts, like stay in PEEK/POKE instruction? (i.e. to have 3 inputs variables instead of 1). In V5.x we had just the possibility to use ANY variables, but we should always to "build" the values inside. Now, in V11, the value is alread splited. It should be easly to work....
