Hi All

I am trying to use a TP1200 to put data into a CSV file (whether on the HMI hard disk or on the USB is immaterial...)

In both of the examples of code I've tried neither gets beyond the last line quoted (when run in the HMI) - the HMI throws up a window saying "cannot create the object", and yet if I run it in TIA Simulator it gets a bit further ! It's as if the HMI is resistant to creating an object / creating an objectway…. as if there's a security-type issue ?

 on the Comfort Panel you don't have "Excel.Application" and there is another fie system. Please see the following FAQ:

Thanks for that, but it is useless....

I have copied the script from the Siemens page as suggested, but YET AGAIN the HMI says that it cannot create the object   :(

There must be a security problem !!!!????

are you still talking about the script in the first entry of your post? Still, it doesn't work on a Comfort Panel, but it may work with a WinCC Runtime Advanced running on a PC.

If you modified the script according the link in my last entry, share it with us, if you need advice.
