VB scripts in faceplates

ATMega128 Experienced Member Joined: 3/13/2007 Last visit: 6/17/2022 Posts: 50 Rating: (5)	hi all, I want to make a faceplate to show hours,minutes and seconds. In the faceplate 3 I/O fields. One faceplate property : TotalSeconds. From this property i want to calculate the hours, minutes and seconds. Can i somehow put VB scripts in the faceplate to calculate the hours from TotalSeconds and show the hours on one of the I/O fields ? the same for the Minutes and Seconds I/Ofields ? In short : put a VB script in a faceplate to calculate something ? Kind Regards Johan

Madhava Silver Member Joined: 11/26/2011 Last visit: 6/29/2023 Posts: 508 Rating: (23)	If you want to show hours and minute from total seconds, you can directly put the arithmetical operator on the IO Field tag. Its easier than VB script. You can do the same with Scripts also.

Does that mean that faceplacescripts aren't possible for a Professional runtime ?? Kind Regards Johan

We upgraded from Advanced to Professional and it can't be true that you can do less with the Professional !! Whats the reason that you can't script in faceplates with the Professional ? Why you can't script in faceplates with the Prof version ? We upgraded from Advanced to Prof andat least we expected to be able to do the same as in Advanced !! Why it is explained in the manual on page 1157 ???? Kind Regards Johan
