For the project, I have made a "SaveAsExcel" function in VBS which is working to my expectations. I am having a hard time converting it to VBA code so that I can run it when clicking a button in WinCC. Any reading materials regarding adjustments in codes from VBS to VBA is greatly appreciated, or any work around will do. Anyway, I have just attached a copy of the VBS code so that you can check whether it is possible or not. Thanks. =) Attachment excel.zip (170 Downloads)

The major difference between VB and VBS is that in VBS you do not declare types for your variables. e.g. VB :Dim my_var as Integer VBS : Dim my_var Also, if you are using a MouseClick event then you should not create any sub functions or procedures in it. Instead create them in the Global Scripts Editor and call them from the MouseClick event script. There are several examples of CP code in VBS on this forum. Please have a search and have a go. I have successfully converted my function from VBA to VBS (not the other way around [;)] ) . Thanks for the tip. Jenie
