Virtual axis jogging

Pieter De Vos Posts: 36 Rating: (2)	Hello, I want to control the virtual axis (master), namely I want to jog this virtual axis (master). Two slave axisses will follow this virtual axis. Purpose: I want to create the following, if I am in manual mode, i want to jog the virtual axis. The slave axisses will then folow this virtual axis. I made a MCC chart that does this function, but it doesn't sattisfy my needs completely. (Because when I have a software limit switch error I can't use the MCC anymore.. Somehow.. it doesn't want to move anymore. So this is what i want to do i want to make the jogging function with FB's. This is what I tried: I tried to use the gearing option MC_Gearin that is available in my library for multi axis. Fill it all in (not much to fill in because, if i use default) it will look at my options for velocity,accelaration,numeration,... in my axis where i filled this in while I created the slave axisses. Then use the MC_jog function. Where i write the virtual master in the axis input. Tried this out, it goes over the program, activates the gearing when i activate for example the gearing through an input but nothing is moving. Thanks for the help and time ! Solution
The axis FB executes basic motion control functionalities. The basic functionalities for a single axis include:

Set/remove axis enable
Positioning (absolute/relative)
Specify velocity (position-controlled/speed-controlled)
Homing (active/passive / setting of a position value / setting of the coordinate system via the redefinePosition command / absolute encoder adjustment)
Jogging (incremental/continuous)
Stop
Emergency stop
Reset of an axis (with restart of the technology object or acknowledgement of the error on the technology object)
Superimposed positioning
Superimposed velocity specification
Manual opening and closing of the holding brake when the axis has not been enabled
Continuation of the positioning commands in the basic or superimposed coordinate system
Gearing (relative and absolute, synchronization immediately, synchronization with dynamic response, settable phase shift or synchronization according to the settings in the user default values)
Camming (relative and absolute for master and slave, offset and scaling for master and slave, cyclic and non-cyclic cam or synchronization according to the settings in the user default values)
Setting of an offset for an existing synchronous operation

I was using the multi-axis blocks for gearing and the single axis block for jogging. Do you mean these blocks ? Because I have them in my library.

Then ifI acknowledge, it runs over the program but doesn't want to move anymore. I think this is because it stays in the while loop. It has to start over from the beginning to function correctly. (with the first two steps) So i have to say reset task when you reach the software limit switch. But what parameter can i use for this ? (Not the swLimit.stateActivation of software limit switch[4] ACTIVE-'EnumActiveInactive' = enum/DINT). Because this Always stays active... => Shown in the expert list online. When you reach a software limit switch it is only possible to leave in the other direction or if an error occur check the reason and remedy by onlinehelp of the Scout. If you want a simple _jog, use _pos absolute with maxposition and _stop for stopping. Positive edge start _pos - negative edge start _stop command. It is easier to use ST for poscommands and variable declaration.
