visibility of a faceplate

Hello,

I've created a faceplate wich I want to use as a pop-upscreen for a valve,
The faceplate is linked to an udt wich controls the visibility of some buttons and graphs.

But, the visibilty function can only be used once wich means I can't use it for the pop-up function I want.

Is there a way to create unique tags for the visibilty of the differtent buttons and graphs, I think I readed something about VB scripts..?

Or what other solutions do you suggest.

I hope I'll made my question clear and provided the rigth information for a solution.

The soft- and hardware I'm using is:
WinCC advanced V13 SP1

TP2200 comfort panel
S7-1214

unfortunately I don't really understand where your problem is.

You already have a visibility tag in the UDT which you use for the faceplate.

What do you mean with "can only be used once"?

That it can only be used for one Faceplate?

If the other faceplate uses different values for the visibility, then you have to connect to another instance of your DB anyways.

If it uses the same values you can reuse the old HMI tag that is connected to the PLC UDT.

Please write a small example what you want so show/hide and what datatype the tag you use for the visibility in the UDT has.

By the way - you connect directly to a PLC UDT, don't you? Or do you use an HMI UDT?
