The last week, two ethernet modules have broken, and now, the software gives a mistake. " This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy.Choose 'Switch to' to activate the busy aplication and correct the problem". How I control that ethernet module is broken? J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, well, first of all I would check if the communication works at all. To do this I would use, if possible, the OPC Scout of your SIMATIC NET installation. This tool allows you to access the connected PLC’s. This way you notice if the local NIC and the remote system is working properly. Best regards J_Bell

ganimedes Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hello. When I open de OPC SCOUT, it work very good. The status of PLC that doesn´t have ethernet module is BAD, but the PC doesn´t get blocked. The message that I say only apears when I run the visual basic program. If I comment the lines that make reference to the PLC with the ethernet module broken, the program runs OK. I think that when I create the items ' Set Item202b157 = GroupObj.OPCItems.AddItem("S7:[maq202]db1,byte157", 1), the program waits for an answer that never comes. Thanks you Best regards
