I will try to explain, i added some pictures.
I want to show the operator if a setting is available for them. the I/O field will have a blue background when the operator is logged in. At this moment this is setup in the Appearance. I use the tag "ActualUserLevel" to set up the right background. If I change the Authorization for the I/O field, I also have to adjust the Appearance so the right background is shown at the different userlevels. What I was looking for is: Is it possible to make this appearance dynamic to the chosen Authorisation. (Maybe with a script or so) I want to make a faceplate with a I/O field inside. Then I have to use a bool or so to make the login/logout appearance. But I rather not want to create a different tag for each I/O field only to make this appearance. Simple: I want to show which settings are changeable and which settings are still locked with the current user.

This can be done. You use a button with the "ShowLogonDialog" function to log in to HMI. Attached an example
