Dear All, I'm quite new to the world of Industrial Communication, so please forgive me for any dumb question. I am trying to make a "Central Hub" for connecting to remote sites from my office and from a Softnet security client installed on a notebook. The desired structure is something like the description below: 1) central office, with a scalance S612 acting as a VPN receiver: subnet 192.168.2.0/24 2) remote site 1 with a MD741-1 making a VPN to central office via GPRS: subnet 172.16.0.0/24 3) remote site 2 with a MD741-1 making a VPN to central office via GPRS: subnet 172.16.1.0/24 4) Notebook connected on internet, making connection to the central office via Softnet Security Client. From the Security Configuration tool I made all settings and now the systemis working as follows: - remote site 1 establishes the VPN to central office: any PC in the 192.168.2.0 subnet can connect to devices in the remote site 1 on 172.16.0.0 subnet. - remote site 2: same as above - Softnet: the notebook can connect to the central office and can communicate with the 192.168.2.0/24 subnet. What is not good, and I'm trying to resolve, is that the notebook can't talk to devices in the remote sites. Is there any guide detailing Firewall or routing settings in the Scalance S612 or MD741-1 for this scenario? Or can you give me some hints? I attach a PDF with a simple schema of the connection, with red lines indicating what is needed but not possible. Thanks in advance.
