i'd like to get some information about pointers in siemens step 7 V11 basic software.

i like to move information with a Vref.

Vref has the information

Rid - Dword

area - Byte

dbNR - uint

offset - UDINT

can i fill this pointer with information?

and use a WRIT_DBL or an READ_DBL ?

question 1 : explaning Vref containing (DBNR is not the problem)

Question 2 : can i use this to piont varable stings? (i have to select bitween 100 strings)
