VS 72x & Simatic Spectation

Mr Alcaide Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	Hi, i have a vs72x camera (VS 722A specificly) but I try to connect this with the program Simatic Spectation (software distributed with this cam) and I cannot see the cam, i always receive: "No cameras found on local subnet". Note: In the "PC comunication" window I can see other element (169.274.173.4) with ip different to my pc, but if I try to connect directly to this adress "Spectation did not receive the expected response with conecting to the vision sensor" I need help please.

To see this type IP address there means it is not getting the details from the DHCP server and perhaps is using its own static assignment . In other words i assume the connection is failing. check cabling check tcp/ip is installed check if there is a firewall installed. if there is please remove it... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Best regards, Hristo Mihalev thanks for replying so soon, but I haven't access to the lab until monday. I will chek and tell you. Edit: You are right the error was the firewall. The antivirus restricted my accsess to the camera. Already is solved, but... now i have a bigger problem:/tf/WW/en/Posts/44884#210794 Thank you again.
