VSM10 current consumption in terminal X522:1,2,3

ani_1986 Posts: 32 Rating: (1)	Dear All, Can anybody tell me what is the current consumption of VSM10 X522(690v) terminal? This X522 terminal is used for line voltage sensing and synchronizing supply for drives. We are taking this line voltage from upstream circuit breker through a PT(potential transformer, ratio is 11/kV110V). so in our case synchronization supply is 110v. Please tell me what is current consumption of this terminal. i require this for calculation the VA rating for PT. With regards, Anirban Mandal Siemens Ltd.

r.ramezani Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	the vsm 10 has two terminal strips to sense the three-phase line supply voltage(x521 and x522) the voltage strength of terminal x521 is maximum of 100v (phase to phase) and is used for voltage sensing via a potential transformer a maximum voltage to be sensed of up to to 690 v (phase to phase) can be directly connected to terminal x522 . only one of the two terminal x521 and x522 may be used i wish it helpfull to you best regards r.ramezani

r.ramezani Posts: 21 Rating: (1)	it's not different to terminal(x522) and usually you can set( r.s.t ) and i write to you becuse if you have 110v you must temination in x521

ani_1986 Posts: 32 Rating: (1)	Yes.Thank you. But could you please inform me what is the current nomally takes by this terminal(X522:1,2,3) when line supply is connected there. I know that the current consumption is few mili amperes but not more than that. But actually i require this time what current exactly is consumed by this terminal.
