Want to show IO's in PLC2 also but these IO's should be controlled by PLC1

Amritpal Bronze Member Joined: 8/5/2014 Last visit: 3/12/2025 Posts: 189 Rating: (26)	I have 2 PLC's, PLC1 and PLC2, I have some field IO's controlled by PLC1 and now i want to show these IO's in PLC2 also but these IO's should be controlled by PLC1. Is it possible? PLC 1 is also supported DP Slave. REGARDS AHMED HAMAD at first you need to map your I/O to data block , then you can use s7 connection over TCP/IP to transfer the data block values to other cpu to monitor it there (just monitor) . by using put/get instruction . or you can use master slave ceretria over profibus , but i prefer to use s7 connection over tcp/ip see this links may help you S7-1200 to S7-300 Plc Communication https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ca/en/view/18610307 you can use the same concept regards ahmed hamad
