I have some problem with set  PG/PC interfaces. I have computer with win 10, and on this comp i have vmware virtual system win 7 64. I installed step 7 pro sr1 and sp1, sp2, sp3, sp4 and hf11 on virtual machine. Computer don't have hardware com. I used conwerter usb to rs232. I tried two ways for connection virtual rs232 to virutal machine. First is in settings of virt. machine i remove port com, and after start machine i connected usb divice and in divice manager appeared vitual port com. Second way was that i add com port to virual machine and let use phisical port of nativ system. In nativ system i instaled converter and it apeared as com 3. Problem is that i dont have PCAdapter for eg. MPI or PROFIBUS or AUTO on my set PG/PC interfaces and i can't connect to PLC with MPI protocol.

Maybe you are to young to remamber that previously PCAdapyter was only with rs232 interface for connection to PC.

PCAdapterMPI is connected to computer thruogh usb <->RS232 converter because i want to use rs232 PCAdapter not on usb. In windows there is virtual com because driver of converter create it. Step7 is instaled on virtual system win7 64bit (machine vmware). In set PG/PC interfaces there is no option for PCAdapterMPI.

System its a bit complicated because its win7 64 as virtual system on win 10. Computer don't have hardware com thats why i want to use converter usb<->RS232. problem is that there is no option in setPG/PC interfaces "PCAdapter.MPI"
