I have the same type of questions:

I need to control 4 motors, each having their own drive and encoder. The incremental encoders are connected to the High speed counters of the S7-1200 PLC. Ik want to use technology objects to control the motors and send the speed setpoints via Modbus RTU instead of sending them via analog outputs. How was your experience with ModbusRTU?
