Wating worm first cuter?

The spindle is analog axis ,use 6RA70 control DC motor,there is one encoder on the frame of the lathe.Now I want to make thread on one roll ,but the alarm show "wating worm first cuter".I don't know how to deal with ,someboday say the encoder of spinder can't find the zero point ,I don't know how to find the zero piont , I also want to dowload the english manual of 802D sl system ,but I don't know where I can find ,Can you help me ?Thank you! Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hi.... Is this a newly commissioned machine ? all of a sudden are you getting this error? If i understand corectly your error messgae is "waiting for first thread cut" normally with the DC motor you will not have a proper thread formation your using only external encoder that is only for position where as motor is not having the encoder for colsed loop veloctiy... Forming the thread on your case will be difficult....Check it out nothing is impossible Can you try changing 32110 $MA_ENC_FEEDBACK_POL[0,AX1]=1 'to -1 and check? >FFWON and SOFT was used in the part program>The setting data 42010 [0],[1] = 0 >Dynamic match was enabled in the axis MD 32900=1 for the interpolating axis > Auto optimize the axis... > optimize the accelearion parameters 32300 Attaching youthe link of 802D SL https://www.automation.siemens.com/doconweb/content.asp?item=11192&cd=sinumerik_sinamics_04_2010_e&scope=all Regards, Ekalavya

I am very happy when I get your reply.Just as you mentioned the correct translation should be "waiting for first cut".The parameter MD32110 is" -1" in our machine ,I have a try to change to "1",but nothing happend . The MD1020 =2300 ,I check the encoder that mark 2500,I correct it ,but also nothing happend .Istart to learn CNCless than 1 year .But I think just as your wisdom"impossible is nothing ",I think I will know well soon .I call the siemens telephone support in local ,they said the spindle zero point is wrong ,ask me turn the encoder to check if can find the zero point mark in HMI , I follow it to do ,but I don't find the zero mark (encoder is incremental ) Best Regards.
