This should provide some API using which we can develpo our own application in C/C++ development environment. This should support Profi drive API. It seems to be the CP1616 card can fulfill our requiremnt but which software package should we go for like Softnet PNIO or anything else? Do you have suggession ?

If you want to have the highest available update time you should use the CP1616 together with the development kit. We want a card which can act as profinet I/O controller(PLC) to cummunicate with Profinet I/O devices on bus. As I told before that we want to write our own program in c/c++ by using some API provided by that card "PCI based profinet I/o controller card". Does CP1616 provide such "dll or lib" interface? or we have to buy some software other pacakge too? Does CP1616 support profidrive API? Regards Parvez Akhtar
