I have Step 7 - 1200 CPU 1214C with part : 6ES7214-1AE30-0XB0 without memory card and
SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic Version 10.5 SP2

I need a Web server on this CPU but I cant see it in " SIMATIC STEP 7 Basic " and I attached a Print screen for that .

Do I have to update the firmware to firmware 2.1 ? if yes how could I do that without Memcard ?
Do I have to update the "STEP 10.5" to "STEP 11" ? if yes is it free update or not ?

To upgrade firmware a memory card is required. Only way around would be to ship your CPU/PLC to someone with a memory card, perform the upgrade, and ship it back.

Firmware upgrades are free.

The web server only works with TIA Portal V11, and firmware 2.x. The TIA Portal upgrade to V11 may be free or covered under SUS or some other agreement you have with your Siemens partner.
