WebNav Project - V6.2 upgrade to V7 help

Granty Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi all, first post so be kind. I have a V6.2 project, which is a 10 client WebNav system. We have a server which runs Win 2003 and WinCC RT, WebNav Server and Terminal Services. We then have WinCE clients which use the Terminal Services sessions to run Internet Explorer to view WinCC WebNav. This works well, but all eggs are in the same basket. I've just recieved the new V7 version of WinCC via SUS and I am experimenting with it. I am very interested in the new features with V7 of WebNav, namely better thin client functionality and user login/logout. However, I can't get my head around the documentation provided, which tries to explain how to setup a distributed WebServer system. It also talks about a new WinCCWebViewer.exe app, which apparently (if I'm reading the doc correctly) allows more thick client like functionality. However I can't even find this .exe on the DVD or in the install. I would like to split the application and have the following. 1 server running WinCC V7 1 Server running WebNav server and Terminal Services. How do I go about this? Thanks

Granty Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Thanks, but I've seen this info before, we are already doing this wihtin V6.2, all be it on the same server. I would like any info on how to split the Web Nav server away from the main SCADA server in V7.
