What are my options to expand communications?

I have a simple question, I have a CPU 315-2 PN/DP (6ES7 315-2EH14-0AB0) with 16 connections and I need just one more so I know that I have to move to a new CPU like: -CPU 317-2 PN/DP -CPU 319-3 PN/DP With 32 connections but I just need 1 connection more so there is another way not so expensive to amplified my number of connections? Maybe some module that can expand my connections? And if is exist this module, please can you tell me which? Thank you as always!
