Hello shiki, a exactly equivalent is not available. If you need only basic functions then can you use a Basic-Panel 2nd generation. For more information please look at his link: https://new.siemens.com/global/en/products/automation/simatic-hmi/panels.html Hope this is helpful. regards |

Hello shiki; I would only add 2 points to CaOd's important information in his post. First, the OP 5 was text-based operator panel, with only messages and alarms available for the control and diagnostics of the machine. If your intention is to use basically the same functionalities with your new panel (there is a lot more that can be done with the modern graphic panels, such as screens, trends, archives...) , this application example could help. Configuration of Messages and Alarms in WinCC (TIA Portal) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/62121503 Second, if you are programming a S7-300 CPU, you can now choose between 2 programming softwares: Step 7 classic (v5.6, now, for Windows 10 compatibility) or TIA Portal Step 7 Professional (now at v15.1, for a s7-300 PLC). If you choose Step 7 classic you should take a ;look at the following video showing the steps to connect a Step 7 classic program for the PLC and WinCC TIA portal for your HMI. Combined configuration with WinCC (TIA Portal) and STEP 7 V5.x (Video) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/73502293 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
