What do you use instead of CP 5611?

Yusuf_TUNÇ Posts: 64 Rating: (2)	Hi all, I have a PC on which installed run time (Wincc 2005). I upgraded it to Wincc 2008 Sp5 for windows 10. The Run time is comminicating with a S7-300 PLC via profibus. The old PC has Cp 5611 card for profibus comminication. I want to buy a new desktop PC with PCI slot for CP card. OS will be windows 10 64 bit. Which CP card should I use for PC? Please help me? Is there any tools that convert profibus cable to USB? Thank you.

Yusuf_TUNÇ Posts: 64 Rating: (2)	Thank you ChristophD and Murof. According to my search CP5612 can work compatible with Windows 10 and CP5611 is not compatible with Windows 10. CP5711 has USB converter, it is good to use with all computer even though with a notebook but it is not a good idea to use with industrial PC. Our customer had an old industrial PC. They bought a new PC on which windows 10 istalled. They would use CP5611, and I told them that it doesn't support Windows 10 so we tried to find a solution therefore I asked to you, my dear experts:-) Old PC has a runtime which buit with Wincc 2005. OS of PC is XP. I upgraded their runtime to Wincc 2008. Also I learned that Wincc 2008 SP5 is supporting to Windows 10. Almost I solved the problem. My last problem is testing runtime which built with Wincc 2008 SP5 on Windows 10, PC which mounted the P5612. My customer has not decided so I am not able to buy a CP5612. I am still wating:-) If it works I will share here. (I believe that it will work) Again, Thank you my dear experts.
