Hello Amol, I agree. This is the reason why I would archive the data locally and later transfer the files to a network storage. Logging Process Values and Alarms with WinCC (TIA Portal) includes the option of writing to resp. reading from network. Some documentation says that the logging data is buffered while closing/opening the logs. Regards, Frink |

Hi Frink, The link mentioned by you is very useful. Incase if we are storing HMI data logging to shared windows folder Link and if we are lost our network connection to windows folder.Is it possible to store data in HMI internal buffer for same time.Once connection is okay it will synchronize HMI buffer data to network folder. Customer always asking for do thing automatically instead of Manual stop logging,store logging data to network and restart logging. Even in case of using script in schedule task there may be chances that network folder will be not available at the time of running script. Br, AmolG |
