what is error 46

Also some times the PC is not communicating with the PLC because is says that the device's firmware is not update. To fix this I have to chance the device for another one the same kind and works for a while and then again same error. I'm using V11 SP1 andI already dowload two patches from the site. Thanks femo What did Siemens Tech Support say when you contacted them? If it were me and I had no access to a telephone, I'd update the firmware to the latest version (2.1.2), update my project with the same PLC firmware level, then see if that wouldn't just fix it.
