Hello, There is a a specific manual dedicated to communication with S7-1500: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/59192925 In chapter 10, they speak about resources. New is that you have the concept of station limit, where the station represents the CPU and further communication boards in the station. So, you must firts take into account the CPU limit for the CPU, and idem for each communication board. And check in addition if the sum for the station is not exceeded. The reserved connections have as purpose that you configure so much connections that even a PG or a HMI could not be connected. If the reserve for HMI is 4, the 4 first HMI devices will take their resource from the reserve. The next HMI wil take its resource from the dynamic resources. |
