What is the product of Insight

Hi expert,

I was hand-overed a building management system which was used for monitoring all kinds of environmental parameters of our facility, like temperature, humidity etc. Now we have a new project to integrate the data collected by BMS into our MES. So here are 2 questions:

1. what product is used for BMS, please refer to attached picture. I can not find the product name in this forum 

2. Can I use OpcRcw which I searched from this forum to build the connection with this product

Desigo Insight is an SBT (Siemens Building Technologies) building management system. I am not a building technologies specialist, but here are some informative documents you might want to look at:

The reason you might have difficulty in finding documentation on Desigo Insight right now is that it is being ugraded to Desigo CC, as of Jan 31 2022...

Dear forum member,

You have the Apogee Insight management station software installed, based on the print screen provided. Apogee Insight has been sold in US and in some AP countries. (The Desigo Insight is the old management station software which was sold in Europe an ME for the legacy systems).

The Apogee Insight has been phased out several years ago. The successor of both, Apogee Insight and Desigo Insight, is Desigo CC. There are some migration options in place and there may still be a discount in the license price, if you migrate soon. 

Please note that there was may be a OPC server available, but I have doubts, if you still get the license. Anyway, there is no supplier support available anymore and I therefore recommend to plan a migration as soon as possible and take advantage of the migration discount as long as it is available.

Hello expert,

We do have the license for OPC server. Can you advise how can we get data through OPC? Do you have a  tool to test if the OPC connection available? And can you provide a demo with C# to connect OPC server to get data?
