Hello Paul; Not much information to go by... A picture of the unit would have been most helpful. Anyway... The only reference in Siemens Product Support for a partial number 3UN8 is for a MLFB 3UN8004, described as: THERMISTOR MOTOR PROTECTION STANDARD EVALUATION UNIT It is part of the Sirius family of motor protection units. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23781040 The replacement part number shown in the FAQis 3RN1010-1CM00, and the following attachment (from the A&D Mall) shows the datasheet of this Thermistor. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier AttachmentDatasheetService_3RN10_1CM00.pdf (1181 Downloads) |

Hllo Paul; Correct me if my eyes decieve me, but I see a nameplate on the top of the 3UM8 units you show us in your attachment, andI read 3UM8020on the rightmost unit. If this is the case, the following attachment shows the description and part number for the current replacement, from the A&D Mall: 3RN1010-1CB00. For more information, look up the part number by yourself in the A&D Mall: www.mall.automation.siemens.com, and select a country that corresponds to your language (I use Great Britain for English); then use the search box for the newest part number. Clicking on the part number on the results page will give you access to data sheets, manuals, etc... Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
