How to use the SwGate to control HSC block with capture function ?

What is SwGate use for ?

You can define the time window in which the count signals are acquired with the hardware
gate (HW gate) and software gate (SW gate).

In short:

Gate open (=true), the module counts

Gate closed(=false), module doesn´t count

If you have activated HW-gate, both gates (HW and SW) must be open, to count.

the Input address is what you projected in the properties of TM_Count.

the capture-functionis like a snap-shot of the count-value. its needfull for fast changing signals.

It depends on your sensor and its signals how to connect it.

SW-gate and capture function don´t depend on each other. But if the SW gate isn´t open (and count value doesn´t change), the capture function is useless.
