What parameters setting needed to be done for the position and for IPOS mode 50 pin cable from CPU to drive?

Prutha Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hello Sir, I am trying to communicate s7 200 smart PLC with v90 PTI drive through Modbus RTU communication. In Speed Control mode it works absolutely fine without any issue but in IPOS its not taking position I have give values to 40100,40101,40102 & 40103. I want to know what parameters setting needed to be done for the position and for IPOS mode 50 pin cable from CPU to drive is necessary or not ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Fast position and speed control using SINAMICS V90.

Modbus application example https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109480267 The section 7.7.2 describes the modbus communication in general, whereas section 7.7.2.2 in the third example the communication for modbus and positioning is described. Before any positioning task by IPos can be done, the drive has to be referenced (register 40110 bit 11 ="1")
