What part to use for ET200S on failsafe application...

NickeNyfiken Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	Hi Got a list for making order on two ET200S, but i'm not sure that i got the rigth list to order. We have an CPU 317F-2DP and we have purchased an funktion from an company which includes two ET200S station för Saftyissue. They have specifyed IM151-1 (151-1BA02.. ) and an PM modul 138-4CA50-0AB0. It's the PM modul i'm not sure on. Anyone who have som information.

It's the PM modul i'm not sure on. Anyone who have som information. Hallo NickeNyfiken not too sure what your reasons are for questioning the suitability of the PM 6ES7138-4CA50-0AB0. Assuming that the Safety Inputs and Outputs are of "F" type (F-DI and F-DQ), it is a perfect choice as a PM in a Safety related ET200S stationas far as I'm concerned . I wonder if confusion arises because therearealsoSafety PM's available (PM-E F). These however are used with Standard DQ cards and can be a suitable (cheaper) alternative. They do have a few "watch out" associated with them though (e.g you always "kill" all DQ's associated with the PM-E F, you still need F-DI's,you may need additional safety measures etc.) and I personally would not use them if I can help it. NickeNyfiken Posts: 65 Rating: (1)	Thanks for the advice The reason for the question was just fore check others wiew. Using F-DI and D-DQ so your rigth, there you can thoose what you want to do with each -FDI/FDQ. Thanks again
