Hello!

We are trying to convert original HMI project with MP370 in WinCC 2008 to project with TP 1500 Comfort in TIA Portal 16

Migration tool 16 was not is not suitable for this task as it was expected

So we tried Migration tool 13 + TIA 13 SP2 with trial (!) license

As it was expected, conversion was not possible until MP370 was not changed to MP377  in WinCC 2008

It was changed successfully except file path to memory card.

Then it was succesfully migrated to am13

Then it was finally migrated from am13 to ap13 with warning "the source project contains one or more disabled animations"

Transformation from ap13 to ap16 finishes with error "Exception in client upgrade hook: The project or library possible contains data that cannot be upgraded by the currently installed software"

This error emerges in both case. If we are trying to open ap13 in TIA 16 on this step. Or if we are changing HMI device from MP377 to TP1500 in TIA 13.

I have two questions:

What step is required for autofit screens for new dimension? In TIA 13? In TIA 16?

How can we avoid this error?

We can't see screens in TIA 13. Because of trial license.

Split from Problem In Updating TIA V13.SP1SCOUT V4.4 To TIA V14 SCOUT V4.5.

V13 was activated by V16 license

Compilation in V13 ended with a lot of warnings of "no tag configured for object" and no errors

These objects are from project library

I'm entering options -> settings -> visualisation -> resize screen in V13

But when I choose "fit to screen" it's unactive

I can't choose X dimension or Y dimension or uncheck the "keep aspect ratio" or "change position".

Nothing happens when I choose "fit to screen"

Do you think migration is not possible because of these warnings?

I suppose library components must be updated manually

I already made it.

I did am13 to ap13 step again

And now watching for compiling results

Or it should be without changes until device will be changed???

I have chosen "fit to screen"

Then changed the device type

It compiled and I managed to run project in simulation

But no way to convert in V16.

About library objects

Compiling of project in WinCC 2008  ends without any "no tag configured for object" warnings 

This is about project library components(!)

So it should be migrated automatically according to this:

There are some standart objects like "IO fields" which are present in both WINCC, TIA libraries.

There is a strange effect when one half of them on the same screen are linked with tags but another half aren't.
