What to do with CP1430 Flash program in S5 -> S7 upgrade

Hi All,

I need to upgrade exsisting S5 system with new S7.

S5 CPU is 115U 944B. 

In S5 reck there is a CP1430 (6GK1143-0TA02) with flash card installed. 

I have no problem to download PLC software and to convert them to S7, but what I need to do with CP1430 program on flash.

the data from the CP you can't use - you only can "translate" the parameters to the new S7-card. Which function has the CP in your configuration?

As André has already explained, you simply have to rebuild your netwoprk withj a CP 343-1 or CP 443-1.

You have tio determine what Equipment that was connected to your CP 1430,  you want to maintain (if any) and see what functions exist in the s7 ethernet CPs that will allow you to do so.

If you are using all new Equipment, simply select the type of connection and fnctions will  fit your new requirements.

Hello,

You should upload the program from CP1430 using the SINEC NCM COMs software. Then using this software you need to read the configuration connections.

If you read the configuration you must configure the corresponding connection in your new S7 PLC.
