Hello ahmaddedi; The user_prm_data is a manufacturer module-specific parameter, and corresponds to the way the Profibus slave ASIC of your module is programmed and exchanges data with the master; as a Profibus user, you do not specify anything in the user_prm_data field. This is read from the module's GSD file and should not be modified. Here are a few documents that could sghed some light on the subject: - from Profibus International (the governing body for Profibus and Profinet): https://www2.mmu.ac.uk/media/mmuacuk/content/documents/ascent/A04_GSD-Spec_2122_V51_Jul08.pdf User_Prm_Data: (O) Manufacturer-specific field. Specifies the default value for User_Prm_Data. If this parameter is used, its length has to agree with the User_Prm_Data_Len. - from Siemens: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/21687843 - from Acromag (the scrrenshot below is extracted from this document): http://www.diit.unict.it/users/scava/dispense/II/Profibus.pdf Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
