I wait for a TP1500 Comfort  operator panel  6AG1 124-0QC02-4AX0.

I create a project in TIA v.13 Professional + Upd1, although most likely the Comfort /Advanced version would be quite suitable for this panel.

But it happened so.

Now I need to get remote access to the panel (in its RT mode) from a PC via LAN.

It requires a license for WinCC Sm@rtServer.

When I run a project on a WinCC RT simulator on my PC, then I get the message

“No license key ! WinCC Sm@rtServer for Runtime Advanced”  in the system message window periodically.

Please indicate which order number do I need ?

Is  6AV2107-0CP00-0BB0  suitable ?

Is  6AV2107-0CA00-0BB0  suitable ?

And how to install this license on the panel ?

Should the USB flash drive be permanently inserted into the panel, or is it just a license file carrier ?

in this case P = Panel and A = Advanced. So you need the first one.

You can use the Automation License Manager. There is the option to connect to a device. When your computer is connected you can transfer the license per drag & drop.

Comfort panles comes with inbuilt smartserver, they don't need any further license. I am not sure whether your panel is new or very old. If you check the panel inside control panel there have WinCC internet settings where you can see smart server options. Just need to enable it. Better make sure before license purchase. if basic panel, then you need smartserver license.

 This is because you use RunTime from your TIA, not HMI simulation. Both are different. Again make sure you really need a smartserver license instead of just buying and then you maynot be really in need of it.

Basic Panels and Comfort Panels/Mobile Panels with a runtime module prior to V14 do need the corresponding license.
