Believe it or not ixo. What I am telling is true.

In LSC, I create a connection with LOGO as client and added S7 device. I didn't change the default TSAP and just kept it as 03.00. Then it is able to communicate. If i change the TSAP with the same configuration as what I did in TIA, the it is not able to write to S7. Am I doing something wrong?

Split from S7-1200,LOGO & TP700.

The TSAP (Transport Service Access Point) of the S7-1200 consists of the following:

Channel: Location of the interface

For S7-1200, the first free channel is the number 10. The 2nd part (location of the interface) consists of the rack number and the slot number.

Since you are in the network view of the LOGO! can only insert an S7-compatible device, the LOGO! yes, not what device is behind it. Therefore, the LOGO! the first free TSAP from their point of view, the case 03.00. 01.xx is reserved for PG / PC, 02.xx for operator panels.
That's why you have to look in TIA, which TSAP is given or free. In S7 you can only change the channel (less than 10 is not possible), but not the location. This specifies TIA.

On both sides of the connection, the same TSAP must be selected for the same device.

     ++ ||
      | |+--- Slot number 1 (CPU)
      | |
      | +---- Rack number 0
      |
      +------ Channel number 10 (first free channel)

Not sure why. and that is the prime reason why I was not successful with all your examples without PUT GET with S7 as Client. Strange.

I am just trying to do some different tests with the connection. Now I can know how to get the data, but still need to figure out why the same TSAP in both sides cant work. Must be some reason I guess.

I absolutely can not understand that.

Finally upload your projects to the Forum and do not just write something. I would like to see in your projects how you managed to set a TSAP 03.00 on the S7.

With that you can convince me, if I see it myself in your Project.

 Here you go ixo. I managed to create a project with TIA V13 for your ease with the same settings i mentioned before. I can get data reading with this setting. Please find the attachment.

hi,

03.00 defines a one-sided-connection. but it is not possible to define 03.xx in TIA for the S7-1200

Can you show us a screenshot? What FW-version does your S7-1200 have? As I can see in the TIA-help, S7-1200 with FW1.0 were able to use the TSAP 03.xx

There is also a application sample whit S7-1200 and LOGO communication, and it is done like ixo65 described.

 Yes in TIA its not possible. But in LOGO i use TSAP settings as 03.00 and in TIA i use 10.01. It communicates data with this settings. Is it normal?
