Hello,

I am using same TIA v14 for data logging. My data is properly getting logged in SQL table. But the issue is, when I close the TIA runtime, it logs one Entry "$RT-OFF$" in the SQL database. (Please see attached screenshot)

Is there any way we can avoid logging that entry in SQL?

I guess you cannot avoid this entry.

Besides I guess you get happy when you have this entry when someone asks you why there are no data logged for a certain time (caused by panel shutdown).

Why do you want not to have this entry?

Thank you for response. Actually, I am creating another application for customer where I am reading data from SQL tables and generating reports for them.

I am creating crowd of variables which are cyclically getting logged in SQL table. But my code gives error if some other entry comes in between. Due to which I don't want that entry to get added in SQL table.

Can we do something may be SQL itself and not in TIA?

so you are reading data from SQL table and write them somewhere else to create a report?

In that case I would adopt the SQL query to check the content of column "Var_Name". It is a while ago to write SQL querys, but the basic query you have can then look like:

select * from table where ... and Var_Name <> "$RT*"
