When doing auto calibration getting error 7007

Hello Siwarexi,

I am also facing same problem with WP231 i.e. when I am doing auto calibration I am getting error 7007

My WP231 is integrated with S7-1215C CPU in pressing application. 

Load cell capacity 5000lbs i.e. 2268 Kg

In a parameter current load cell signal (mV) DR31    I am getting  -0.1mV  for 1 load cell

If I replace load cell with other one then I get -0.24mV

Excitation voltage is showing 4.91V

If I reverse the polarity of Sig+ and Sig- then I could finish calibration without error

but then I get -ve value of weight. 

And value is also not proper i.e. we putting 11.4 Kg of weight then Its showing 17 Kg in Siwatool or PLC.

Is there any way to adjust this manually.

Hi Rocon,

you can do a "normal" calibration with calibration weights or you do an automatic calibration with a preload.

For the automatic calibration with preload you can proceed as follow:

1. You load the load cell with a load until the signal is positive
2. Proceed an automatic calibration, then the actual weight shows 0
3. Remove the preload, now you get a negative weight value.
4. Execute the command "Shift Characteristic (81)", after that the weight shows 0 and if you load the scale with a known load the scale should show the right value.

If the scale does not show the right value you might made an error editing the "Load cells Parameter (DR19)" or you have an mechanical issue.

The "normal" calibration is explained in the manual. The minimum calibration wieght for this is 2% of the nominal load off all connected load cells, if you have a 2mV/V load cell.

I am having 5 load cell modules connected to different 5 Nos of WP231.

All load cells are of Honewywell make with different capacity 

According to manaul and your post All load cell shall give 0 mV at no load and 20mV at nominal/full load. i.e. 0 calibration digits to 2000000 calibration digits  ideally

But all 5 load cells are behaving differently. 

When load cells placed on table at no load condition they all show different digits and mV feedback also. like -0.24mV, -0.1mV or 5.76 mV etc. 

I am not able point out the problem either in load cell or Siwarex WP231.
