when i am trying to connect OPC server it is not getting connected

I have a PC with XP SP3 english with Simatic Net 2006 v6.4acting as a SERVER for 4 workstations running Simatic Net Opc client (taken from the same installation CD). All PCs are installed from scratch with only the very essential software and microsoft patches. I am now going to install hotfix3 and hotfix8 (are there more patches?). Are there limitations due to the use of WXP a a SERVER? (concurrent TCP connections?) What can I do to diagnose the problem? Thanks Hi, I have the similar problem. But when i am trying to connect OPC server it is not getting connected & it givesw me attached error message. I checked in task manager for SOPCServer.exe & OPCEnum.exe are not running. Following licences were missing/corrupt. wincc connectivity pack winnc option connectivity station. After insatalling above licence it is working now. Still i do not know how this affects the OPCServer connectivity.Let me know if anyone has idea.
