Dear sir,

I have problems configuring the IP of an IM 151-3 PN ST module.
It is connected to a local network (192.168.0.1) as well as a
CPU 315 2 PN/DP and a PC with LAN interface running Simatic manager v5.5.

According to all documents I found about creating a connection between the CPU and the IM 151-3, I have to use PLC->Ethernet->Edit ethernet node (or assign device name) to find the module by MAC and then assign a name and IP to it.

The problem is, that when I browse the network, nothing is found.
When I try to enter the MAC address from the box directly in the corresponding field, it says that no such device exist on the network.

So the BF led on the IM 151-3 blinks, showing a configuration problem and I am not able to assign an IP to the module.

Please help me. It is very urgent.

 Similar problem I'm also facing it but when I'm scanning the IM in PSTool then it's showing the MAC configuration but when I'm scanning it from Scalance 6GK50080BA001AB2 it's not showing the IM MAC Address.

Please provide a help for this problem!
