I am using TIA Portal V16, operative system is Windows 10 I have a project with a PLC S7-1500 1512C-1 PN and a HMI KTP600 Basic Color PN I want to simulate my program on the PLC with PLC SIM while simultaneously simulating the HMI in order to see how pressing the buttons on the HMI change the state in the ladder diagram First, I go to the main block (OB1) and press the button "start simulation", complete the process and then I go to HMI's main screen and again press "start simulation" Everything seems good so far but the problem is when I press a button on the HMI it does not change the state of that contact in the ladder diagram, I will left the .zap file of my project in case it helps you to identify the problem, it's a very simple program with 2 buttons to start/stop an output (it's on Dropbox since the attachment is larger than 3000 kb) [snip] Attachmentsample_project.zip (52 Downloads) |

Hello elleo88 This won´t work because of the old Panel. To connect a HMI Simulation to a PLCSim V14 or newer the HMI Image Version has to be V14.0.0.0 or newer. The Panel you use is a Basic Panel 1st Generation so the latest Image is V12.X so there is no newer Image. --> you cannot connect it. If you change the device to a KTp700 Basic for example or a Comfort PAnel and use the latest Update then i will work.
