When turning off the PLC the local time changes to 0

Thank you so much. This problem solved but I have another problem for now.

when we turn off the PLC the local time changes to 0 and I need to connect to PLC and adjust the local time.

Is it hardware and battery problem? or I can fix it in the software.

PLC is 1214C.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I enabled the clock memory bytes but again I have a same issue.

I set PLC time and date by applying take from PG/PC and after turn off and on again local DTL changes to 0.

Here is what the manual says about the clock:

The CPU supports a time-of-day clock. A super-capacitor supplies the energy required to keep the clock running during times when the CPU is powered down. The super-capacitor charges while the CPU has power. After the CPU has been powered up at least 24 hours, then the super-capacitor has sufficient charge to keep the clock running for typically 20 days.

If your controller does not behave as designed, you should probably address the issue with the supplier.
