it would be a very nice feature, but it is not yet implemented on S7-1200.

Hi, I'm currently only using S7 1200 with mainly relatively simple programs but with data capture and remote viewing. Is there currently any timeline on when VoT will be available for the 1200 or should I consider changing to the 1500 which seems like a hammer to break a walnut option.

What do you want to do with VoT?  It doesn't support trends.  I'm just wondering if a custom web page might work for your purposes (if your UI doesn't change from job to job).
