Where can find information for opc-server from siemens?

guip973 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I would like to avoid having to pay a licence software for each PLC. I have a lot of PLC to connect. Where can I find information on this opc-server from siemens? How is it licenced? Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Is there a Siemens SDK to exchange data with S7 PLC ?.

I think that Dave have also some Linux solution. In this case of solution you don't need programm comm on S7 side, only on yourPC app and libraries are with good description. In other case you can ask Dave directly.

But of course you can try to use other companies that can do similar functionality (for Example Softing OPC Server (in the past also known as INAT OPC Server)) Bye Murof
