*Sorry I got confused with another machine, this use a 840D. *I know that the error code that I'm getting is from the user area, but I would like to know if there is section where I can read a detailed description of the alarm? > DB2 . DBX 181 . 5 you need to check this in PLC..... For 840D Simatic S7300 Platform..... > If your 840D is with PCU50 if Simatic Step7 is installed you can view it from there it self back trace this alarm and correct it...... > If you don't have it in 840D then you should have your laptop connected with MPI port and cable communicating with control.Upload the project on your laptop > goto cross reference and back trace this alarm..... > You can view if Simatic Manager is installed in your 840D control you get Simatic Step7 Softkey from there you can go.... > if you want view only the alarm no you can go to PLC status and check the input status of your alarm. By the way and risking being OT, does someone know what could be causing spindle overheating in a boring machine?==> How are you checking this physically by hand...or any alarm appearing it for this..... Check this Docon link out for information.... http://www.automation.siemens.com/doconweb/content.asp?item=6127&cd=sinumerik_simodrive_04_2010_e&scope=all Regards, Ekalavya |
